Croatia Culture.

Historically Croatia was caught among the maritime empire of Venice

the landlocked Austro-Hungarian empire, and the Ottoman Empire which spanned both land and sea.
As a result, the cultural heritage of the region bears the fruits of all three of these cultures.
Our tour turns the spotlight on the northern Croatian peninsula called Istria–once part of the Roman empire, a civilization particularly fond of both hills and fortification.
Croatia Food & Wine.
The culinary traditions show the best of this heritage, the architecture is purely Mediterranean, and the historical remnants date back to Roman times, though the region is rich in Medieval and Renaissance villages, cities, and architecture.
When you know that each lunch stop or bed for the night is at least one climb away, it gives both added determination to tired legs and an extra measure of contentment with the first sip of a cold glass of Favorit (one of Istria’s most popular lagers) or first taste of fuzi (Istrian pasta) drenched in home-made olive oil and sprinkled with shavings of the local truffle.
Landscape of Croatia.

Slightly rolling and hilly terrain Best Time to Visit Croatia

Late April through end of October.
Don’t forget to bring a swimsuit!.
